About Me

Davita Paul | MS NCPT CES

I am a movement and corrective exercise specialist, a nationally certified Pilates teacher, and hold a Master's in Kinesiology of Corrective Exercise Orthopedic Rehabilitation, and Geriatric Exercise.

Having gone through my own injuries during my time as a professional dancer, I learned the benefits of Pilates and therapeutic movement from a young age. I started my own Pilates practice to recover from chronic back pain and was able to continue dancing for many years because of this practice.

As a post-professional dancer, I use the embodied knowledge of movement and biomechanics to help rehabilitate and heal other dancers, athletes, and chronic pain clients by using Pilates-based corrective exercise.

I work in collaboration with physical therapy colleagues and allied health care providers, to serve as a bridge for clients between PT and general fitness or return-to-sport. I work with clients when they are cleared for movement post-acute injury or pre/post-surgical, and when managing ongoing chronic pain conditions.

I specialize in lower quadrant injury recovery including: chronic low back pain, pre/post-op hip replacement, TKR and partial knee replacement, ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis. I also focus on women’s health support through the life stages including pre-natal, post-partum, menopause, and active aging.
